11 Nov Vanilla Butter Biscuits
125g softened butter
1/3 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup self raising flour
2/3 cup plain flour
2 tablespoons peak 456 milk
~Using an electric mixer, Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl, until fully mixed
Combine the plain and self raising flour in a bowl. Add half the flour mixture into the butter mixture and mix together, add the milk and water, stir thoroughly.
Add remaining flour mix, when the mixture becomes solid, mix with your hands.
Scoop tablespoonfuls of dough and roll into balls.
Place them 2 inches apart, on greaseproof paper, flatten with your fingers.
Leave them for about 20 mins to set
Preheat oven to 160*
Bake in the oven for 18 – 20
Leave to cool for 3 mins and serve with a glass of milk or as desired.
